Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 1/ cup cup peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, water and syrup. Boil til it spins a thread. Add peanuts, stirring constantly. Cook and stir til brownish gold. Remove from heat. Add butter, salt and soda. Turn out onto buttered bread board ... spread w/back of spoon. As candy cools, work up from board with spatula. When cool, break into pieces.
