Parmesan Grilled Sweet Onions

Ingredients:

  • 3 large sweet onions , cut in half crosswise
  • 2 tbsp butter or 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Place each onion half, cut side up on a square of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  2. Dot each with butter; sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap onions tightly in foil.
  4. Grill 20 to 30 minutes or until tender.
