  1. Combine sugar, flour, sorghum, molasses, eggs, butter, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in pecans, if desired. Pour filling into pastry shell; sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool before slicing.
