Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup sorghum |
1/2 cup molasses |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional) |
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell |
ground nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, flour, sorghum, molasses, eggs, butter, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in pecans, if desired. Pour filling into pastry shell; sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool before slicing. |
