Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in double boiler. Mix in sugar into butter.
  2. Mix 1/4 cup of half and half with cornstarch.
  3. Add remaining half and half to double boiler butter/sugar mix.
  4. Stir in half and half/cornstarch into the butter/sugar/half and half combination.
  5. Heat over med-low heat, stirring constantly until thickens.
  6. Pour into baked pie shell, lightly sprinkle with nutmeg (for garnish).
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
  8. Refrigerate.
  9. FOR MICROWAVE - mix ingredients together in safe bowl, microwave for 10 minutes, stirring at 2 minute intervals until thick. Pour into prepared shell, sprinkle with nutmeg and bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
