Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line a clear medium bowl (or trifle bowl) with separated ladyfingers to cover bottom and insides of bowl.
  2. Gently press fingers together at seams to set.
  3. Sprinkle fingers with sherry or orange liqueur.
  4. Mash blackberries and mix with sugar.
  5. Add to bowl and spread bottom to cover ladyfingers.
  6. In a second bowl, combine instant vanilla pudding mix with 3 cups milk. Stir or mix until pudding is stiff.
  7. Fold in heavy cream until evenly incorporated.
  8. Fill bowl with cream pudding and top with berries and almonds.
  9. Cover and chill.
  10. Note: You can add more fruit or more layers of lady fingers, fruit etc.
  11. Michele used sugarless instant pudding.
  12. Optional: Garnish the very top with a few mint leaves.
