Ingredients:

  • 14 oz. can of stewed tomatoes
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/8 cup of cilantro leaves (i use less because i'm not a big fan of cilantro)
  • 1 jalapeno sliced (remove seeds if you don'tsp want it hot!!)
  • 1 tsp. lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tsp. salf (more or less if desired)
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • dash cumin (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place ingredients in blender
  2. Stir before blending
  3. Set the blender to PUREE and mix
  4. Stir it up and pour into your favorite salsa dish/platter/bowl
  5. I like to make my own tortilla chips with corn tortillas. I cut the tortillas into 4 pizza looking slices and deep fry in Canola oil until lightly browned. I add salt after they're fried. If you fry a pound of corn tortillas that will easily serve 6 people.
