Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Castor sugar into 10 plastic dish.
  2. Margarine sliced – distribute on outer edge of sugar.
  3. Condensed milk over the top.
  4. Put in microwave for 2 minutes on High.
  5. Stir to blend.
  6. Put in microwave for 3 1/2 minutes on High then 1 1/2 minutes on Medium.
  7. Stir Well.
  8. Put in microwave for 2 minutes on High, then 1 1/2 minutes on medium, then 1 minute on High.
  9. Then 5 minutes on Medium.
  10. It boils up, up; then suddenly collapses – repeats cycle a few times, rising less as it gets heavier.
  11. Beat in Vanilla.
  12. Stir Thoroughly.
  13. Leave awhile until light cracks appear.
  14. Beat some more.
  15. Will fall away from sides of dish.
  16. Pour into grease proof lined pan.
  17. Smooth.
  18. Leave to set a while.
  19. Cut top.
  20. A bit later cut through.
  21. Wire rack to set.
