Keri's Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Slice bread in half diagonally.
  2. Soften cream cheese in microwave and stir. Spread thick layer of cream cheese on one half of bread and top with other slice of bread like a sandwich.
  3. Beat eggs, add milk and cinnamon.
  4. Fully coat cream cheese sandwich in egg mixture.
  5. Place on hot skillet or griddle and cook on both sides until egg mixture is cooked thoroughly. Tip sandwich and cook the 3 side edges briefly.
  6. Serve warm. I enjoy it with syrup, powdered sugar and blueberry topping.
