Jennies Cheesy Broccoli Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 21/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 lbs. cheese, cut up
  • tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  3. Add flour, stirring constantly, stir in milk.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for one minute.
  5. Add remaining ingrediants.
  6. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is heated.
