Directions:

  1. Flour, salt, mace, whipping cream, and butter in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well. Spoon mixture into a greased 9- x 5- x 3-inch loaf pan; press mixture evenly into pan.
  2. Place loaf pan in a 13- x 9- x 2- inch baking dish; add hot water to dish to a depth of 1 inch. Cover loaf pan with greased unglazed brown paper. (Do not use recycled paper.) Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until set. Remove from oven; turn fish loaf out onto a serving dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Slice and serve immediately.
