Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make Tomato Sauce: In cup hot oil in Dutch oven, saut onion, garlic, and parsley until onion is tender about 5 minutes.
  2. Add beef and sausage meat; saut until well browned and meat is completely broken up into small pieces. Drain fat. [Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, oregano, basil and pepper; mix well, mashing tomatoes with fork. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 3 hours.] (I use jars of spaghetti sauce if Im in a hurry. Stir well so meat is mixed through the sauce.)
