Eggnog French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 7 oz. loaf french bread
  • 11/2 cup. dairy eggnog
  • 1/4 cup. butter or margarine
  • any type pie filling ot favorite preserve

Directions:

  1. Cut bread in 12 3/4 in thick slices
  2. Place bread in single layer shallow dish and pour eggnog over slices
  3. Let stand turning bread once until eggnog is absorbed(approx 5 mnutes)
  4. In large skillet place butter and cook slices until golden brown on both sides
  5. Serve hot, top with cherry pie filling or any preserve.
