Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Slice bread across, almost all the way through, making pieces about 1/2 to 1 inch wide
  2. Spread insides with butter and put a piece of jack cheese in each slit
  3. Put the loaf on a boat of aluminum foil
  4. Mix together the butter, poppy seeds, lemon juice, onion, salt & pepper
  5. Spread the mixture on top of the loaf
  6. Wrap in the foil
  7. Bake at 350 for about 20 to 30 minutes
