Cardamom Flavoured Indian Mango Chutney

Ingredients:

  • 500 g pulp of matured mangoes (they should not be ripe)
  • 150 g dates
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 inches cinnamon
  • 4 cups water
  • 3/4 tbsp salt
  • 9 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel and chop mangoes into small cubes.
  2. Mix in all the ingredients and cook till thick.
  3. Stir continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
