Ingredients:

  • 4 cups bran buds
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 4 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Pour All Bran and Bran Buds into a large bowl, cover with water and let soften for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400'.
  3. In another bowl cream together sugar, butter, eggs, milk and soda.
  4. Add creamed mixture to bran and add flour. Mix VERY well.
  5. Spoon batter into muffin tins filling completely.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes for regular sized muffins.
  7. Cool on wire rack.
