Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and add brown sugar. Let cool.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Put into greased 9 x9 pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes in 350 degree oven. Do not overcook.
  4. Cool slightly and cut into 1 x3 bars. Cookies should be moist and chewy, so keep them in an airtight container.
