Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Stew
  2. Place all the Vegetables, stock cubes, seasoning and beef into a pressure cooker
  3. Place on the lid and bring to full pressure (as per manufactures instructions) and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Dumplings
  5. Blend the flour suet and seasoning in a bowl.
  6. Gently add enough water to make to a firm dough.
  7. Devide into meduim sized balls and leave to rest whilst the stew is cooking.
  8. Stew
  9. When 5 minutes cooking time is reached depressurise the cooker as per the manufactures instructions.
  10. Return the cooker back to a reduced heat and add the dumpling balls, gently pushing them under the gravy in the pot.
  11. Place the lid loosely back on the pressure cooker and leave to simmer for 20 mins.
  12. When the dumplings are cooked remove themplace in a bowl and keep warm.
  13. Add thickening gravy granules to the stew and stir until the mixture is thickened and the granuales have dissolved completely.
  14. Put the dumplings on a plate and serve the stew with them .
  15. Eat with big chunks of fresh bread.
  16. Great meal for Autumn and Winter to ward off the chills.
  17. You can omitt the beef and beef stock cube but add another vegtable stock cube and a squeeze of tomato puree to make this a vegetarian dish.
