Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel and slice bananas lengthwise.
  2. Place in shallow ovenproof dish.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice, jam and brown sugar.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Beat egg whites , gradually adding sugar, till firm and sugar is dissolved.
  6. Spread over bananas.
  7. Bake in moderate oven 10 minutes till golden brown.
