Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix all the wet ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Fold in the nuts.
  4. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
  6. -ForMuffins-.
  7. Fill liners 3/4 full and bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
