Bacon, Cheddar, and Tomato Pita Pizzas

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until crisp, 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Removed with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  4. Place unsplit pita breads, concave sides up on a baking sheeet.
  5. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with basil.
  6. Divide onion, tomatoes, and bacon over pitas and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake about 8 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Grind pepper over pizza and cut into wedges to serve.
