Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup apple, peeled, shredded , packed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Stir in apples.
  4. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients.
  5. Combine and add egg, milk and vegetable oil.
  6. Stir only until combined. The batter should be l;umpy.
  7. Fill lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
