Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (3 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar .............
  • 2 tbsp milk ....................
  • 1 carton (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed................ or real whipped cream my fav.......... and choice .. i think it tastes better ...........
  • 5 cups cubed angel food cake ............
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup ...........
  • 1/2 cup english toffee bits or almond brickle chips, divided..........

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and milk until smooth.
  2. Fold in whipped topping. Arrange cake cubes in an ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. dish.
  3. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  4. Set aside 1 tablespoon of toffee bits; sprinkle remaining toffee bits over chocolate.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over top.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits.
  7. Cover and chill until serving.
  8. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  9. Yield: 6-8 servings.
