Almond Apple Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp malt vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 cups mixed greens
  • 3 medium apples, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds

Directions:

  1. Combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and almond extract in jar with tightfitting lid.
  2. Shake to mix well.
  3. Refrigerate for several hours.
  4. Combine mixed greens, apples, celery, green onions and almonds in bowl.
  5. Pour salad dressing over salad and toss gently to coat.
  6. Serve immediately.
