Yams and Apples Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 (28 oz) can yams, drained
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallow

Directions:

  1. Toss apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and pecans.
  2. Layer with the yams that have been sliced smaller and rolled in melted butter.
  3. Cover.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
  5. Uncover.
  6. Sprinkle with miniature marshmallows.
  7. Bake 20 minutes more, uncovered, until marshmallows are toasted, hot and bubbly.
