  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Grease a 10-inch tube pan.
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.,.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, ground ginger, pecans and crystallized ginger in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture 1/3 at a time, alternating with the milk, finishing with the flour mixture. Batter will be thick.
  5. Spoon into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  6. When cake is cool, combine icing sugar and lemon juice, Drizzle over cake.
