Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Get 3 mixing bowls, 1 large and 2 medium bowls
  3. In the large mixing bowl, measure dry ingredients and level off measuring. add all ingredients to large mixing bowl and mix well (i use a whisk) and set aside.
  4. In one of the medium bowls, whisk eggs.
  5. Add milk and vanilla extract and whisk again. set aside.
  6. In the third mixing bowl, mash bananas with a potato masher until a smooth consistency is reached (this step becomes easier as the bananas get riper)
  7. Add applesauce and continue mashing.
  8. Add egg mixture to banana and applesauce mixture and whisk together.
  9. Add half of the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and genlty blend. i use a spatula and turn ingedients on to themselves.
  10. Add remaining dry ingredients and stir, add raisins and continue mixing until blended but do not overbeat.
  11. Divide batter in too 2 loaf pans - i use a pyrex glass 9 x 5 pan.
  12. Drop pans slightly on counter to tap out air bubbles.
  13. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes, then turn in oven and bake another 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
  14. Let cool for about 20 minutes and remove from pans and let cool.
  15. Enjoy!!
