Spinach Salad

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz spinach
  • 1/2 lb bacon bits
  • 1 (10 oz) can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Wash spinach well and dry. Add remaining ingredients and store in plastic bag until ready to serve.
  2. Mix dressing ingredients. (I use a jar with tight fitting lid.) Pour over spinach mixture just before serving.
