Sourdough Pancakes With Fruit Sauce

Ingredients:

  • the night before stir together
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 package yeast
  • cover with wax paper ; let sit overnight on the counter. next morning
  • add
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp baking soda which has been dissolved in 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • mix well and cook on a hot gridle.
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions:

  1. In medium saucepan, combine apple, pear, orange juice, honey. Over
  2. Medium heat, bring mixture to a boil; stirring occasionally. Reduce
  3. Heat; simmer 8 to 10 minutes, until fruit is tender. In small bowl,
  4. Combine cornstarch and water, stirring until cornstarch is dissolved.
  5. Stir into hot mixture; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes until mixture is
  6. Thickened.
  7. Or just use fresh fruit, like Strawberries
