Slow Cooker/Crock Pot Islander Pork

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs boneless pork , loin-end rolled & tied or 3 lbs sirloin tip roast, rolled & tied
  • 5 -6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp kitchen bouquet (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place roast on rack & broil 15-30 minutes or until brown.
  2. Stud meat with cloves.
  3. Place roast in slow cooker.
  4. Sprinkle with nutmeg & paprika.
  5. Stir together catsup, orange juice, honey say sauce, lemon juice, & Kitchen Bouquet (optional).
  6. Pour over roast,.
  7. Cover & cook on low 10-12 hours, or high 4-6 hours.
  8. Remove meat from slow cooker.
  9. Juices can be thickened with 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch & 2 tablespoons water.
  10. Cook on high until thickened for gravy.
  11. Enjoy!
