Russian Teacakes Mexican Wedding Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla, thoroughly. Stir in flour and salt. Blend well, and add nuts. Chill until easy to handle.
  2. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1 balls. Place cookie balls on ungreased baking sheet. (Cookies do not spread.)
  3. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until set, NOT brown. While cookies are warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
