Great X-Mas or coffe cookie! This are a big holiday tradition in my family. Ingredients:
1 c butter |
1/2 c confectioners' sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
2 1/4 c flour |
1/4 tsp salt |
3/4 cup nuts, finely ground |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla, thoroughly. Stir in flour and salt. Blend well, and add nuts. Chill until easy to handle.
2. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1 balls. Place cookie balls on ungreased baking sheet. (Cookies do not spread.)
3. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until set, NOT brown. While cookies are warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
