Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt 1-1/2 T butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pecans; saute' 8.minutes or until lightly browned.
  2. Remove pecans from skillet.
  3. Melt remaining 2-1/2 T butter in skillet over medium heat; add onion, and cook.
  4. Until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice and remaining ingredients.
  5. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in pecans.
