Peach Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz) can peaches or 1 1/2 cups fresh , adding peach nectar to substitute for peach
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Drain juice from peaches into saucepan.
  2. Combine sugar and corn starch and stir into juice.
  3. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until thickened.
  4. Add almond flavoring, reserve peach slices and sliced strawberries.
  5. Heat through.
  6. Serve over vanilla ice cream or short cake.
