Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter for each 8oz milk
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 pint oysters

Directions:

  1. Heat milk slowly with part of butter.
  2. Simmer oysters with liquid & 1/ of butter - just till edges curl. (any longer will toughen them)
  3. Just before serving - mix together & season with salt & pepper.
