Orange Poppy Seed Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp orange juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray two loaf pans with cooking spray.
  3. Mix the first ten ingredients together until smooth.
  4. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Mix glaze ingredients together.
  6. Poke holes in loaves with toothpick and drizzle glaze over while cakes are still hot from the oven.
