Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C); grease and flour an 8x4 loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  3. With a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut in butter.
  4. Break the egg into a measuring cup and then fill to the 1 cup line with milk.
  5. Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and beat well.
  6. Add vanilla and lemon extracts and beat until well-blended.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
