Mom's Banana Drop Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup crisco
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs , unbeaten
  • 2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375°F
  2. Cream sugar, crisco and vanilla.
  3. Add in eggs. Stir to combine.
  4. Do not overmix
  5. Stir in mashed banana.
  6. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Add to wet mixture.
  8. Stir in nuts.
  9. Chill in bowl in refrigerator 30 minutes.
  10. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets.
  11. Mix 1/4 C sugar and 1/2 t cinnamin together. Sprinkle the UNBAKED cookies with this mixture.
  12. Bake at 375F 8-10 minutes. Do not burn
  13. Cool on racks.
  14. Enjoy with milk!
