Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Clean and thin slice mushrooms; set aside.
  2. In a heavy fry pan on medium heat, melt butter and oil and saute garlic and onion for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in mushrooms, parsley, salt& pepper.
  4. Cover and cook until the mushrooms have wilted down and released their liquid, approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Uncover to reduce liquid by 1/2 to intensify flavors.
  6. Add heavy cream and cook till slightly thickened.
  7. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. This can be prepared ahead of time and reheated without losing the freshness.
  10. This dish freezes well too.
