Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts popped popcorn (1/3 cup unpopped)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Place popcorn in microwave safe 4-6 quart utensil. set aside.
  2. Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in 1 quart glass batter bowl.
  3. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes; stir.
  4. Microwave in high 2 minutes.
  5. Add baking soda and vanilla. stir well.
  6. Pour syrup immediately over popcorn; stir to coat evenly.
  7. Microwave on high 1 minute; stir.
  8. Microwave on high 1 minute; stir
  9. Quickly turn out on waxed paper or sheet pan;cool.
  10. Break up into pieces and store in airtight container.
