Mccormicks Chocolate Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients:

  • crust
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
  • topping
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp mccormick pure vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. For the Crust, beat all ingredients in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until crumbly.
  3. Press into bottom of lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. For the Topping, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer 2 minutes or until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  6. Pour topping over crust.
  7. Return to oven; bake additional 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is set.
  8. Melt remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips in small bowl in microwave on HIGH 30 seconds; stir.
  9. Microwave additional 10 seconds if not smooth.
  10. Drizzle over cooled bars.
  11. Refrigerare 1 hour.
  12. Cut into 24 squares or cut each square diagonally to make 48 triangles.
