Mccormicks Chocolate Cream Cheese Bars |

Pure vanilla and chocolate are two favorite flavors. This terrific dessert, makes a perfect solution to any holiday get-together when you don't have time to shape and bake individual cookies. The dark chocolate drizzled over the top makes an elegant statement. Ingredients:

1 cup flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon mccormick® ground cinnamon |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened |
topping |
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened |
1 1/4 cups sugar |
1 tablespoon mccormick® pure vanilla extract |
2 eggs |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. For the Crust, beat all ingredients in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until crumbly. 3. Press into bottom of lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned. 4. For the Topping, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer 2 minutes or until smooth. 5. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 6. Pour topping over crust. 7. Return to oven; bake additional 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is set. 8. Melt remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips in small bowl in microwave on HIGH 30 seconds; stir. 9. Microwave additional 10 seconds if not smooth. 10. Drizzle over cooled bars. 11. Refrigerare 1 hour. 12. Cut into 24 squares or cut each square diagonally to make 48 triangles. |
