Low Fat Cream Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 (8 oz) packages fat free cream cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Add the cream cheese piece by piece.
  4. Mix until you have a dough that holds together.
  5. Do not overmix.
  6. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured work surface
  7. With a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  8. Cut out rounds with a biscuit cutter and place on greased pan.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until pale brown.
