Linda's Spiced Gumdrop Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup spiced gumdrop, cut up

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter and sugars.
  2. Beat in egg, water, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour and oatmeal.
  4. Add gum drops. Mix well.
  5. Heat oven to 350.
  6. Drop rounded spoonfuls of batter 2 apart on greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes.
