Lime Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp lime zest
  • 1/8 tsp mace
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Directions:

  1. In a small mixer bowl, stir together honey, lime peel and juice, poppy seeds, salt and mace.
  2. Beat honey mixture with an electric mixer on medium-high speed while gradually adding oil. Continue beating until mixture thickens.
  3. Cover; chill.
  4. Stir to remix before serving. (If, after chilling, mixture becomes too thick to drizzle, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes).
