Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spray butter flavor crisco into a 10-inch tube pan. Flour pan.
  2. Cut a circle out of waxed paper and place in bottom of tube pan to prevent cake from sticking.
  3. Thoroughly cream together sugar and butter.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in half of the flour, then the whipping cream, then the other half of the flour.
  6. Add vanilla.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  8. Set in COLD oven and turn heat to 350 degrees F.
  9. Bake 60 - 70 minutes, until cake tester tests clean
  10. Cool in pan for 5 minutes
  11. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly
