Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Be very careful of points on leaves of the artichoke
  2. Cut tips off artichoke, then cut stem down to 1/4 of an inch before heart
  3. Place the artichoke on counter and press down to spread leaves apart.
  4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheese and spices
  5. Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic add to dry mixture
  6. Blend all ingredients together
  7. Place artichokes one at a time in the bowl and sprinkle mixture in between leaves.
  8. Drizzle oil over the top of the artichoke
  9. Add 2 cups of water to pan(large enough to allow all 4 artichokes to sit in water without tipping over)
  10. Simmer for 30-45 minutes, if you are able to pull a leave out from close to the center, it is done. Don't let water evaporate
  11. Divide nutritional facts by 4 to get your individual result, it comes out to 85 cal for stuffed artichoke
