Ingredients:

  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 1 quart apple cider
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 (2 1/4-inch) cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Insert cloves into lemon slices. Bring lemon slices, apple cider, molasses, and cinnamon to a boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Discard cinnamon stick. Stir in lemon juice; serve immediately.
