Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup banana
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Combine: shortening; vanilla; bananas; brown sugar; lemon juice.
  2. Blend well;MIX: b.
  3. Powder; flour; salt Slowly add to banana mixture; Blend well Stir in; nuts.
  4. Bake in 11x7 sprayed pan, 350, 30 to 35 minute.
  5. CUT while warm.
