A very moist, yummy dessert. Tastes better the next day.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup banana
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup nuts
Directions:
1. Combine: shortening; vanilla; bananas; brown sugar; lemon juice.
2. Blend well;MIX: b.
3. powder; flour; salt Slowly add to banana mixture; Blend well Stir in; nuts.
4. Bake in 11x7 sprayed pan, 350, 30 to 35 minute.
5. CUT while warm.
